Irradiation equipment — IrradLed 48
The IrradLED is used for drug testing in photodynamic therapy (PDT). The device consists of an irradiation source with a wavelength chosen to meet the researcher's needs and an electronic module that controls the LED intensity in ten intensity levels and the irradiation time. The IrradLED 5 has 48 LEDs arranged in an array inside a dark chamber, which prevents external light from entering the sample irradiation environment. It also has 5 positioning levels for the acrylic support on which the samples rest inside the dark chamber, allowing the irradiation area on the sample to be adjusted.
