The IrradLED is used for drug testing in photodynamic therapy (PDT). The device consists of an irradiation source with a wavelength chosen to meet the researcher's needs and an electronic module that controls the LED intensity in ten intensity levels and the irradiation time. The IrradLed 1 has a compact housing designed for handheld use, like a flashlight, so the beam can be aimed at the sample being tested.
