Trinocular metallurgical microscope

The metallurgical microscope, also known as a metallographic microscope or simply a metallurgical scope, is an essential instrument for studying the metallographic properties of materials. It can be configured in several ways to better suit the needs of the operator and of the different types of tests. In the binocular option, there are two dedicated eyepieces, one for each eye, allowing stereoscopic (3D) viewing of the sample being analyzed. The trinocular option, in addition to the two eyepieces for the operator's eyes, has a third, larger port for mounting digital cameras designed for this purpose, which allow the test under analysis to be recorded on digital media. The microscopes also offer a range of objective lenses that provide greater versatility in sample magnification, depending on the need. The Biopdi metallurgical microscope features a Köhler illumination system that provides a uniform field of illumination, giving better definition when viewing the sample.
